This is very true. I often tell people interested in working in civic tech that the job is super stressful, but it’s a different type of stress than they’re used to. It’s exhilarating, sometimes a complete power trip. You’re going to want to be involved in everything and work all the time, but you need to understand that’s still stress… even though it feels good. So 100% agree with you here.
